You know you have a good friend when he packs out all the meat at about 10,000 ft. elevation.
Thirteen years. Thirteen points. That is how long Kyle has waited to draw a tag for the Henrie Mountains. After two long week-ends of scouting with Wade, Austin, Zack, Ammon, and Brad, Kyle got the Back Seat Buck. The deer got this name from our sit down comedian Zack. When they were all up there scouting they had found a nice buck. They were all discussing and strategizing and Zack asked the question, "How good do you think he is. Is he a back seat buck?". He was referring to the time that Kyle, Wade and Kent were in Nevada hunting and Kent shot a big 6X6. Kent was so proud of the buck that he put it in his back seat of his truck to take it home. (Haha, this reminds me of the movie we had to watch in Hunters Safety. When the country bumpkins get a deer and put it on the hood of their truck so that they can show it off! I think that this was an example of what not to do.) :) Kyle claims that the buck rode home in the back seat. But as crazy as Kyle is about keeping that truck spotless I'm guessing that it rode home in the back bed of the truck. Well the boys had a great time together. They always come home with big stories that somehow get bigger and funnier every year. As you might can guess from this blog that going hunting with this crew can cause some great laughs. The only thing that could have made it better would be to have Uncle Leon there. That is the first question the boys will ask Kyle when he invites them on a hunt, Is uncle Leon coming? If the answer is yes then they for sure will go!

Poor Little deer.
I watched Kyle gut a deer in front of me for the first time probably 8 years ago at the hunt and im still grosses out to this day! Then we rode back to camp in the back of the truck with the body and we got tics all over us. O the memories :)
