I'm pretty sure that they are going to build a new facility at Dixie Regional Medical Center and name it the Zackary William Frei Same Day Surgery. Every nurse, the anesthesiologist, and the people at the front desk remember him and ask him, "weren't you just in her?". This is Zack's third surgery in three years. Zack spent the summer in physical therapy and the ACL bridge program to see if he could get his knee strong enough to play football his senior year. It didn't work so he had surgery last monday. This is what they found! No ACL at all. It was completely torn.
A lot of cartilage damage.
Now he has a new ACL!
I'm hoping that the third time is a charm and that we are done with injuries.
