Korean Folk Village With The Bishoff's

This morning we walked around Seoul Station while we were waiting to meet up with the Bishoff family. There is always so much happening on the streets of Seoul. Here are a few things we did.

There are shoe stands everywhere!! I finally found the ones I wanted. Chase asked the salesperson for a size ten and all of the employees started to laugh!!! Ha Ha I guess I have the same problem Chase had in Seoul. They only make small shoe sizes. As we walked away all of the employees just stared at my feet as if I was a freak of nature. Now every time a Korean is staring at us all the boys yell, "they are staring at your feet"!

We met up with the Bishoff's to travel down to the Folk Village. Elder Bishoff and Elder Frei were in the MTC together. They became friends instantly. They flew to South Korea together and then Elder Bishoff served in Jaeson, South Korea. They had not seen each other for two years. They had a lot to talk about. The Bishoff family are from my hometown.

America in South Korea.

Wish Wall

The Korean dancers traded hats with Zack and Chase.

This was Ming Jung's second time ever seeing a horse. She wanted to pet it but was to scared. Kyle walked up and told her that horses wont hurt you and as he did the horse turned its head and tried take a bight out of him. HaHa it was so funny.

This one is for Elder Winn in Salvador, Brazil!

As we took this picture this group of girls ran by in such a hurry trying to catch up with somebody. We had no idea what was going on. Ming Jung then started following them. Ha I guess a really famous South Korean teenage singer was in the park and these are his groupies. Ming Jung told us that none of these girls go to school. They just know the singers schedule and they follow him everywhere.

This is one of Ming Jung's best friends. She has been traveling around with the Bishoff family helping them find their way through Seoul. We were all so excited to all get together. Tomorrow we are all going to the DMZ together. The Ishino family will be going with us also. Elder Ishino and Elder Frei entered the MTC together and have become great friends. They are both also going to study Korean at BYU this summer.  Ahhhhhhh our time in Seoul is coming to an end. :(
