Chase was pushing me away. He was being protective because earlier the eagle had tried to fly out of the owners hands . It kept giving us the eye while we were getting pictures taken and anytime someone would move a chair or a sudden move it would jump at you.
We had to have a picture of Chase to display at the award ceremony. Hayley and I had been gone over the weekend and Chase had not gone over to Kiddie Kandids to get his picture taken. So we decided to take one ourselves. This is what it takes to get one good picture of Chase. You should see us trying to get family pictures. That is why we dont get very many.
Sunday night Chase was awarded his Eagle Scout. I have to take this time to tell you what an awesome boy he is!! We love Chase. If you go over the scout law A Scout is trustworthy, loyal, helpful, friendly, courteous, kind, obedient, cheerful, thrifty ( he is a dutchman), brave, clean and reverent, Chase is everyone of these. We always tease him that he is the golden boy. He just brings a special something to our family. His brothers love and look up to him. Hayley loves him. His parents think he is amazing. He is awesome!! I could go on and on...... The Eagle ceremony was great. They brought a real Eagle and talked about the characteristics of an Eagle and how they relate to these boys life. The Mormon Batallion came and presented them special awards. It is a great example for Chase's brothers and cousins.

I have to say that those pictures are pretty impressive. The one where he is totally cheezin' it look just like Kyle at first glance!
Chase looks good. I mean really good. Hey ! everyone come see how good Chase looks.
