Hayley And Lisa's Awesome Adventureree

So, Hayley had an interview for Grad school at Texas Tech University (Go Hayley!!) on the 19th. Luckily, she has a mother who went with her... and if she didn't I bet this story would be even more ridiculous if she were by herself.  Lubbock, Texas is a small college town.  I believe they told me that the population is around 200,000, and 75,000 of the population has something to do with the college.  The Frei family is pretty confident when it comes to traveling because of our friend, Eleanor. Elle is our navigation system, and let me tell you, she is a lifesaver if you ever go to Omaha, Hawaii, Phoenix, or anywhere in California (I still don't know how the human race survived so long using those paper things with all the lines and grids on them... what are those called again?).  Anyway, Elle got us lost, like every single street we turned down.  We got so frustrated!! We tried to navigate ourselves, but I was about as useless as, well, a map. There are NO mountains there!! I was trippin out the whole time- it's creepy! So, we finally found our hotel (which is another horror story all together) and had a pretty good trip.  But, I will tell you that I don't think I've ever seen mom so mad at an electronic device in my whole life.  Check out these pictures... Hayley totally looks like Chase in the first one... she's a cutie!

These were our faces all weekend... what the picture doesn't show is all the colorful words that came out of our mouths.

All I can say is "recalculating destination!! "

All I can say is that we are very important. We have many leather bound books and our home smells of rich mahagoney.
