Zack has made it a annual event to injure himself. Not to be outdone Chase tried to show him up this year.
Zack was ice skating Saturday with big group of friends. Him and a friend were attempting to do a skating move from the movie Blades of Glory. Zack lifted the friend in the air and they both fell to the ground. The friends blade ran over Zack's finger.
Zack called me and I met him at the ER. They are getting to know Zack on a first name basis. He cut his finger to the bone. It also cut through ninety percent of both tendons. Tomorrow we have to see the plastic surgeon and within three weeks he will go in for surgery to repair the tendons. My thoughts were:
1. This kid is going to make me go crazy!
2. I am going to hurt him!!
3. He can't play baseball for the second year in a row!!!
4. I am glad that we have aflac!!!!
5. He can go to Curacao with us on Spring Break :)

Chase decided he would go long boarding with his friends. I am not sure on all the details because he and his friends did not want to talk about it. All they would say is that he is lucky to be alive. You would think that they would have a little more sense than this. (One of the friends that was with him nearly died three years ago from a gruesome long board accident) The only details that I know is that Chase was heading directly for a wall of lava at a high rate of speed. He thought instead of having his entire body slam into this he would fall backwards on his hands to slow him and stick his feet out to hit the wall. He ended up scratched, bruised and both wrists and thumbs are sprained! :(:(:(

haha I'm just waiting for Haden's big break into in injury world :) He has yet to break something or chop something off
No, I think Haden was a lot more wisdom than the others. You know he already thinks he is nineteen. The only injury that I am worried about is a hand or thumb injury from playing that evil COD!!
