I have more photos from our California trip to post, but I can't find my camera cord. Something so meaningful happened to me while I was there that I just have to blog about it before I forget. My aunts, mom, Hayley and I were all sitting in my Grandma's room talking. My Aunt Carol stood up and said to her sisters that she knew that my Grandma would never be able to move back home. She asked them to go into my Grandma's closet and take anything they wanted of hers. Then they the all started arguing over who should get my Grandma's stuff. They weren't arguing that they wanted it but that they thought the other ones should have it. So impressed with my mom's family!!!! I think that is the way sisters and brothers should act towards each other!! Like I said in a previous post my Grandma is very, very frugal and so after a life time of saving everything, she has a lot. But NEVER have I EVER heard my aunts and uncles discuss what she should do with it all and who it should go to, or who it should NOT go to.
Another thing that impressed me was that I never heard one negative word towards anybody in the family while I was there. Just love, respect and appreciation. I hope that I can pass this on to my family;).
