Summer
This summer as usual has gone way to fast. So here is a little update. I am sure that I have let everyone know this!!! Chase came home from Seoul and was only home for a month. He moved to Orem to attend BYU summer session. He took Korean Studies, marriage and family (this is a religion class, and is required), and tennis. It was a great summer for him. He made a lot of new friends and was able to take Korean studies with some other missionaries that were in Seoul with him. Chase took 7.5 credits and finished with 22.5 credits thanks to being able to test out of the lower levels of Korean Studies. Not to shabby. While Chase was in Orem the Dixie College football coach contacted him. Zack and Mitch had told the coach that Chase was in Orem and maybe he would come back Dixie. I am sure it wasn't to big of a decision for him. Who wouldn't want to play their favorite sport with one of their favorite cousins and brother. So hurray!!!! Chase moved back!!! Yes I am very happy he is here. I felt like we didn't get enough time with him, so this is good. It has been nothing but laughs with him, Mitch and Zack. It is going to be a great fall.
The Frei family had their family reunion in Kolob. What a crew! We had a blast! One of the highlights was the horse show competition. Grandpa Frei was out there showing them how it is done. And beating them! We were able to get a photo thanks to Jessica and Hayley. They are pretty talented! I couldn't get that many people in a picture and have it turn out this great.
I also had the privilege to go to girls camp. And did we have fun! We have the best girls in our ward. I love them. Our camp got the nickname of the no drama zone because everyone gets along so well. I also am so lucky to be in Young Womens with such amazing leaders. I learn so much from each of them and the girls. We had some great spiritual moments. Testimony meeting was probably my favorite part. I think that I might have come home with some pulled abdominal muscles from laughing so much.
We had a photo booth set up so that whenever you wanted you could just go take pictures. It was a hit! We also had to learn a dance, and perform it the last night when all of the bishoprics were there for dinner. We were the first group that was supposed to run on dancing so we wanted to at least try to remember the dance. What a great week! I also learned something about myself. I can drive the scout trailer down Cedar Mountain! With out burning up my breaks! I just want to keep that one on the down low and leave it to the men. :)
More girls camp photo's to follow. After I find my camera card. Ha maybe it is wherever my camera cord is! Then I will have California photos also.
My sister Stacie and her boys came from New Mexico to visit. We finally got to meet baby Mason and they got to meet Cruz. While they were here we went to the splash pad. They had a blast. I wish that they lived closer. Seeing them twice a year is just not enough.
These next photo's might earn me nerd status. But that is ok. Now that my kids are all older they don't want me taking pictures of them non stop. So I end up taking pictures of really random things.
